I recently realized the power of YouTube. I saw a commercial that I found hilarious and was relevant to one of my blog themes. I copied the commercial from my Tivo and hosted a copy on YouTube so I could easily post it on my blog. I put my website name on the bottom of the video, not even a link, just text. In 48 hours, I had over 3000 views at YouTube, and had a large increase in traffic to my site.
This really opened my eyes to the advertising power of YouTube. I was lucky enough to get in on this commercial right when it was released, being in the front of the line has to help before the market gets saturated. Now the key is to stay on top of it and find more new content I can video and get on YouTube for promotion.
